ESES Announces 2021 Student and Young Professional Ambassadors

ESES is pleased to announce our 2021 class of student and young professional ambassadors. These ambassadors will be working on ESES projects around the world, assisting with fundraising efforts and project implementation. Ambassador appointments are for the 2021 calendar year, but can be renewed if desired. These ambassadors come from around the world and we are excited to welcome them to our team!

Young Professionals

Sandrah Ahereza

Sandra is from Uganda and is a graduate of Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda in Agricultural Engineering. According to Sandrah, “Being a native from East Africa, and growing to see plastic waste in  open canals, streets or dumped in the nearest open space has erupted a burning desire in me to search for ways in which such waste can be gotten rid of, and it’s the reason as to why I choose to team up with professionals of the same goal.”

Parmiss Khosavi

Parmiss is a 2019 graduate from Georgia Tech, where she studied Materials Science & Engineering. She currently lives in Cambridge, MA where she works for Formlabs, a 3D printing company. 

Liz Warner

Liz is a Plan II and History graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. She currently lives in Austin, TX and works for a technology consulting firm. 

Students

Jackline Aboth

Jackline is from Uganda an undergraduate student at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda pursuing a degree in Agricultural Engineering.

Gina Frierson

Gina is from Texas and is majoring in Chemical Engineering at the University of Houston. She works for BWISE (Black Women in Science and Engineering).

Dimitrios Karadimas

Dimitrios is from Greece and is currently attending the University of Kentucky studying Chemical Engineering. According to Dimitrios, “My passion for combating any form of environmental issues in combination with my knowledge to be as a chemical engineer, has led me to collaborate with similar minds to find solutions to all the difficulties faced by our withering mother earth.”

Abby Lange

Abby currently lives in California in the US and attends the University of California Santa Barbara with a double major in Chemical Engineering and Art. 

Collin Logsdon

Collin is from Pekin, Illinois and is currently a Freshman majoring in Biology at Illinois Central College in Peoria, Illinois.

Kaitlynn McGlennon

Kaitlynn is from Paducah, Kentucky and is currently a Freshman majoring in Chemical Engineering at the University of Kentucky at the Paducah Extended Campus Program.

Jiha Yoon

Jiha is from South Korea and is majoring in chemical engineering and minoring in sustainable studies at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
